I created the Great Teammate Rubric to help solve these questions. I wanted to help define what makes a great teammate.
The Great Teammate Rubric breaks down being a great teammate into 10 key categories. These categories include:
- Communication Skills
- Work Ethic
- Supportiveness
- Reliability
- Respectfulness
- Attitude
- Accountability
- Adaptability
- Commitment
- Leadership
This rubric allows you, as a coach, to evaluate your players. It also helps your players evaluate themselves.
